Documentation Certifying 100% Full-Strength Juice Credibility

​

The purpose of this document is to verify the specified formulas manufactured by Tone Products Inc. of Melrose Park, IL, fulfill the requirements for the USDA CACFP Child Meal Pattern. The specific pertinent regulation specifies that “Pasteurized full-strength juice may only be used to meet the vegetable or fruit requirement at one meal, including snack, per day.”

 

The following formulas meet the regulatory definition of a 100% juice food product (21 CFR 101.30; percentage juice declaration for foods purporting to be beverages that contain fruit or vegetable juice)
